This is what you need to install the lower ratio Sidekick/Tracker ring & pinion gears in your Suzuki Samurai differential. Due to the size of the Sidekick/Tracker gears, the differential cross pins will not stay in place. Thiskit contains a retainer to hold them as well as a spacer to move the ring gear over enough to achieve proper setup meshing.

No machining is required for the installation of this kit. This is for a single differential only. Order 2 to do both front and rear.
NOTE: To hold the sleeve in place - simply put 3 or 4 tack welds along the top edge. There is no pressure on this piece so no need to lay down a thick bead all the way around. Just something small to keep it from sliding around that you can easily grind off at some future date if you ever need to remove it.
